I am missing the blog. I have been incredibly busy and just haven't had the time to sit down and write anything for awhile. Here are just a few things that are going on.
The funeral was incredibly sad. How do you answer the question, "Why can God let this happen?" I could try and explain it, but were they really looking for a long drawn out answer at the time. Besides, there are somethings we will never know. However, I ended up flying with my grandmother and it was a wonderful bonding experience for the both of us. I decided after that flight I was going to take her every where I fly. Because we had wheelchair assist, there is no guessing games at the airports, we got to cut in line at security check points, and we're first to board. It was wonderful.
I stayed with my aunt Bonnie in Larkspur, CO. It was Gorgeous there. It is in the foothills of Colorado, between Denver and Colorado Springs. It's a horse community with huge ranges all around. I was in heaven. Did I bring my camera and do I have wonderful pics to share. Um no! What was I thinking? I was thinking.. damn I wished I brought my camera. Actually, it was a quick trip and I was gonna have enough to lug around between my grandmother and I. A trip is in the making to go back specifically for picture taking so I will make up for what I didn't take.
I got in a swimming suit for the first time this year. My aunts and I all soaked in the hot tub while in Larkspur and I realized I desperately need to start running. It was a depressing moment to say the least.
It was passover for my cousin Aimee and her boyfriend Kami, who were also there for the funeral, and because of passover everything they ate had to be Kosher. I got to try baba ganoush for the first time. OH yum!!! It's kind of like Hummus only made with Eggplants.
Brian and I are planning a trip to Chicago with the kids for the 4th. I can't wait. We are gonna take the train there and back. It will be a first experience for all of us to take the train, but not our first to Chicago. WE LOVE THAT CITY!
Photography is kicking my butt and I love it. Every year business continues to grow and it's exciting!! However, I am currently working on my time management. I take everything that comes my way and in doing so I find myself working all day seven days a week. I know, terrible, but I am working on it, I promise.
So that's it..oh so exciting, but I had to blog, I was missing the blog.
