It is sad but very touching. I am not sure that as a photographer I could do this kind of work, but what a great blessing it was for them.

IF.....
Tomorrow will not be just another busy day

The air is humid with a slight breeze touching my skin. Rain saturates the ground and darkness surrounds me. It is the stillness of the night and the calmness the sound of rain brings that I love the most. It is in the very moment that all thoughts of work and to do list fade away and reflections of life surface.
I think about how I have allowed my days to flow, in what ways I let be what is. How every laugh counts more then before, and every sweet tender moment I grasp on to. The company I keep seems more exciting, and how trivial I let the important things be. I dare not to let my busy days turn into a blur of the next.
Today we slept in and let time slip by with no rush to get out the door. I enjoyed catching up with an old friend today, and danced in the pouring rain with my kids. I walked out of my studio to the empty Sunday streets of Tongie, soaked in the stillness, smelled the fresh crisp air before the rain, and felt the coolness break way through the humidity.
Tomorrow will not be just another busy day.
